NOMA PDX's 3-day Architecture Summer Camps are a community-supported program made possible by the support of our volunteers in the AEC Community. Local architects, designers, and community members foster the next generation of design professionals, civic leaders, and change makers by helping young people grasp the significance of architecture in their daily lives, as well as the broader cultural, social, and historical implications. With your support we achieve our mission of empowering young people to affect change in their community through design.
The Re-Design the Block Architecture Summer Camps is designed to remove barriers to access by being located within students’ own neighborhood, while also providing Spanish-language instruction and Spanish-speaking design professionals as mentors.
